These terms govern your use of Challenger Quiz (the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to them.

1. The Service

Challenger Quiz is a tool for hosts to manage pub quiz leagues - tracking teams, scores, and results across weeks and seasons, including data imported from third-party quiz software. It's provided as-is, and features may change, be added, or be removed over time.

2. Accounts

Host accounts are created by invitation. You're responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for activity that happens under your account. Guest/team access via a team code is provided at the discretion of the host who set it up.

3. Your data

You keep ownership of the quiz, team, and score data you upload or enter. You're responsible for having the right to enter and store that data - including any third-party export files you import. We don't sell your data or share it with other hosts; each host's data is kept isolated from every other host's.

4. Acceptable use

Don't use the Service to store or process anything unlawful, don't attempt to access another host's data without permission, and don't attempt to disrupt or abuse the Service.

5. No warranty

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose or uninterrupted availability. Scores, imports, and analytics are provided as a convenience and should be spot-checked before being treated as an official record.

6. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Challenger Quiz and its operator won't be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from use of the Service, including loss of data or loss of a league's scoring history.

7. Termination

We may suspend or terminate access to the Service for any account that violates these terms. You can stop using the Service at any time.

8. Changes to these terms

These terms may be updated from time to time. Continued use of the Service after a change means you accept the updated terms.
